Little Anu, Anupama, and Anuj are excited to go home. Barkha and Ankush ask them where they’ve been. Little Anu says that she takes a private plane from Mumbai to her ashram. Ankush thinks she had a great time. Little Anu says she saw her friends, gave them gifts, and had fun at the beach. Maaya comes over to them. Anuj says they had a lot more fun than the school picnic. Maaya brings Little Anu to her and treats her well. Little Anu is thrilled to show off her newly taken selfies. Maaya asks Anuj and Anupama if they went to the ashram to find proof against her without telling her. The elder Anupama says that Maaya is not the center of the world, and they would have found proof before letting Maaya be near Little Anu. Maaya says she’s sorry, she felt. Anupama says she knows people who break people’s trust don’t trust others very often, but she thinks she should try trusting others. Anuj tells Anupama not to ruin her mood, and he tells her to get ready because they are going to have coffee together and then go out to dinner.
Maaya says she’s taking the morning flight because she couldn’t get the night flight. Should she book a hotel room or can she just stay here tonight? Aruna says she can wait and leave in the morning. Thank her, and Maaya starts to talk to Little Anu. With worry, Anupama asks Anuj if Maaya will go with her or without Little Anu. Pakhi, Adhik, Kinjal, and Kavya get ready for Anupama’s birthday party at the dance academy at Shah House. Haseeb says he is tired and will take care of Pari at home. Leela asks Anupama and Anuj why they didn’t invite her and Vanraj if they are her enemies. Hasmukh makes fun of the fact that Leela doesn’t like common sense, good manners, or Anupama. Leela says he makes fun of her all the time. Vanraj asks Kavya why she is going if they sent only young people. Kavya says that they would have invited him too if they hadn’t already invited her. Leela tells them not to bring Toshu with them. Toshu says he’d like to go. Samar says they’ll look after Toshu. As they leave, everyone says goodbye. Based on what Leela says, Anupama didn’t invite them on purpose. Haseeb asks them why they would invite her on their birthday; he wouldn’t have done it himself.
At Anupama’s birthday party, Anuj hosts the event and greets the guests. Anupama leaves in a suit instead of a sari. Anuj dances with her to the song “Neela Dupatta Peela Suit.” Join them all. The girl Kavya says that Anupama is a great mom. Anuj says that seeing her kids makes her happy, and he doesn’t want any problems today, which is why he set up the party at the dance academy, where Anupama feels good. Kavya wishes Anupama a happy birthday and says that she was stressing out over whether she told them the wrong thing about Maaya, but thank God they both look fine and everything is fine. Arun and Anuj both say “yes.” Pakhi tells her that she and Adhik made her a cake. Anupama tells Adhik how great it is that he changed Pakhi. Adhik says they tried it for the first time and gave each other a cake. Anupama says it’s the best cake ever because her kids made it.
Aruna says that everyone will cut the cake together. Anuj says it’s not possible because there are too many hands for that small knife to fit in all of them. With a bouquet and a big knife, Anuridh walks in. Kavya tells him that she is her friend. Anirudh says he has always treated Anupama with respect as his sister and that he came without being invited, which may come as a surprise or shock to them. Anuj says, “Wow.” Anupama greets him. They all ate cake at the same time. Anuj sees Kavya and Anirudh’s equation and asks Anupama if Vanraj and Kavya are having a problem at the moment. Vanraj does not change, says Anupama. Anuj says that Vanraj should understand that a second marriage brings together things from the first marriage. It’s her hope that Vanraj and Kavya will get along better. They see that Little Anu is tired and decide to take her home. Anupama is told by little Anu to enjoy her party. Anuj says he will come back after dropping Little Anu off at home with Barkha and Ankush. Yes, Anupama agrees. She tells Little Anu how much she loves her and waves her off.
Anuj tells Little Anu that he will change her clothes and put her to sleep when they get home. Anu tells him to leave because she is an old girl and can handle herself. Anuj is adamant. Maaya comes in and tells Little Anu that she will be fine. Little Anu gives Maaya a hug and tells Anuj to go to Anupama’s party and let Maaya take care of her. Anuj goes back to the dance school. The mother asks Anuj if Little Anu slept. Anuj says that Maaya is taking care of Little Anu and that they will go home as soon as the party is over. Aruna asks Maaya to take Little Anu away. Anuj says we shouldn’t talk about it right now. Maaya starts to cry at home. Anu, who is little, asks her why she is crying. Maaya says she’s leaving now. Anu the little one asks why. Maaya tells her she has to and tries to change her mind by telling her Anupama has three kids while she only has Little Anu. She shows her party pictures and tells her that her mom is having fun with her kids there. She also tries to brainwash her by telling her that her parents fight all the time because of her and that Anupama can’t spend time with her own kids because of her. Little Anu just sits there and listens. Maaya believes that this is what she needs to do to get away from this place.
